Client Interview: The process starts with an in-depth interview to learn more about your business, branding, needs and goals. This may happen over the phone, Skype or in person (if you are located within the Portland Metro area). At this time we offer advice on various ways to leverage your video.
Scriptwriting: We will be as involved as you would like us to be in the scriptwriting process. Some clients like to write their own script, while we offer advice and review it. Others prefer us to write it. We are happy to do either, although we highly recommend letting us help you to incorporate proven sales techniques into the organization and content of your script.
Narration/Music: If your video requires narration, you will have your choice of a male or female Voice-Over Artist to use as the Narrator for your video. We will send you sample voices to choose from. We will also send you samples of carefully selected Music files to choose from as the background of your video. Once you choose your track, we record the Narration in a professional studio and edit it together with the music.
Storyboard: The Storyboard will consist of 4-12 jpeg images representing the different parts of your animation video. Here you will approve what the characters, object placement and timing will look like. All graphics are custom created just for you!
Animation Phase: Now the fun begins! Your video will be created based on the Storyboard, Music and Narration. You will have the opportunity to submit feedback and make revisions to the video at this time. The video will be re-submitted for your approval. There will be up to 2 revision rounds to ensure that you are 100% satisfied with the end result.
Final Approval and Deliverables: Once we have received final approval of the video by all decision makers, we send your video 2 different file sizes optimized for different uses.
Hosting and Analytics: All Paper Krane clients are given the opportunity to have a Youtube and/or Vimeo Pro account created by us for free (though Vimeo Pro charges $200 annually). These two platforms offer great analytics systems that allow you to track the success of your video. We don’t charge anything for free setup and posting of our videos because your success is our success and we want you to utilize these great tools!
